Quality Assurance
Alturas Analytics Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) helps to establish and maintain quality systems to ensure that all work at Alturas is performed to the highest standards. Through training and involvement with the Society of Quality Assurance (SQA) and regional SQA chapters, the QAU keeps up to date on current industry standards for compliance with the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

GLP Compliance
The QAU audits and inspects projects at Alturas Analytics for compliance with applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GLPs, including:

• Facilities Audits
• In Process Audits
• Data Audits
• Report Audits

In addition, Alturas devotes extensive resources to 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, IT policies and personnel, and computer systems validations.

Staff
Experienced staff, well educated in Good Laboratory Practices and individually trained on methods they are to perform, conduct all bioanalysis. An in-house report writer generates quality, GLP compliant reports to reflect the data produced within the laboratory, and Alturas is flexible enough to tailor reports to a client’s specific needs.
